The ultimate goal of life is to do research. It is research that we have to do and that we are born to do. We are not really aware what’s ‘definitely good’ and for this we need to do research. We are not conscious of what we are doing in ‘absolute terms’ while being only cognizant of our actions in relative terms, i.e. relative to people in our abstract vicinity. One has to definitely involve in serious research about one’s basic nature and interests in order to love what one does. Many researches are being / been conducted to question the very purpose of our lives, and I assert that research is the right answer.
We have an extremely potential mind, which is exceedingly potential to accomplish all things of thought in not only this world but also in other (if it exists !). Coming back to research, people generally do research, for their own vested interests, although their outputs benefit the common concern. A marketing personal does marketing research, an engineer does scientific and community oriented research, scientist does research on various laws, a philosopher, Spiritual Guru, Mass Leader, Motivator, … etcetera everyone in this world have to do research, to remain pertinent to ones profession.
There are established laws and precepts, some are documented, while others not, but all are the results of deliberate research. Research is a part of human life and one cannot be ignorant of it and also to this word, research. Even an Auto-Driver has to do research about area wise market viability, his fuel consumption in relation to his driving speed, about his peak working hours, charges, etcetera. A student has to do research to understand which the best methodology to learn his subject is, and during the final years of his edification, he makes evaluations (a type of research), for best career option based on his true potential ( whose max level, he is generally not aware of). Research Papers are presented and published to share these researches, experiments and experiences with the world, which is the ultimate aim of any research. There are established laws, but no one knows ‘all the occasions and situations’ when these laws seize to remain existent in full or partial fashion. So, this again necessitates more research to explore the unexplored, to build the imaginary, to differentiate between success and failure, right and wrong, highs and lows, good and bads.
Till, there remains life, their remains uncertainty, and life continuously strives and tries to answer the unanswered or the unknown. Not all answers are outside our mind and not all are established in the form of research paper. Assuming the fact, every person is unique, in terms of his nature, situations, etcetera, so the fashion, in which a particular established research paper would be executed by every individual/organization is just beyond imagination.
Research to define limits, to give direction to future researches, and to demarcate necessity from excess, will always remain the need of the hour. A research involves a definite plan, which is accepted thoroughly by the researcher, and executed with full determination, in-order to obtain the valuable results. Following the past researches, with their proper and scientific implementation in novel conditions, leads to revelation of 'New'. The quality issues in the researches is a concern, but I would prefer to regard them, 'not many research parameters considered'. More the parameters considered, whether as variable or as constants, more is its probability of usefulness, as there is infinite diversity of the conditions, in which a research can be relevant to.
Some research papers are available for free, while other researchers want their experiments/ideas to remain their source of income, but that’s not as much materialistic, as much it is to know if time travel is possible, is there only one world or are their parallel worlds, are the established facts will ever remain, as it is in this dynamic world, what am I writing today, will I even hold by it tomorrow… The world in fact, derives its equilibrium from uncertainty, and wants people to remain busy exploring it. Swami Vivekananda said, the world is ready to reveal its secrets when given a necessary blow.
No individual or a group is a failure in absolute terms; it’s only a relative experience. Rather, a relative failure is a also a successful event, as it’s also an experiment which indicates the direction which is to be avoided. There are lots and lots of can’s and could’s that can only be answered with someone’s thorough research. So, keep exploring those can's and could's, as I wish you a Happy Researchful Life Ahead...
