Why Hire Me?
Everything about me is "out of the box"! This is the place where answers to the real problems comes from. Travelling ~8500 miles, I bring upon table vast variety of experiences. So, whats unique about me?
The following four things
The following four things
Two masters in Civil and Structural Engineering and one in Business Analytics and Information System. My history tells that I have been subjected to one of the hardest course works and work life. Being a structural engineer requires decision making based on the data. Structural engineers have been using data analytics much before it became prominent. Problem solving is in the blood vessels of a structural engineer, and it matters less which problem we want to solve -engineering or a business problem.
Part of the challenge is if you know the skill to obtain the data in meaningful format. Therefore, I learned skills like Perl and Python to do data cleaning for engineering purposes (Finite Element Research).
The other part of the story is how to use this data to make a business decision which I have learned during my masters program at USF.
Business has always been making decisions for 5000 years. Businesses overtime have become complex and taking those complex decisions can have un-intended effects. Therefore, solely relying on the gut feeling or the Board of Directors or the the market can be too much of a risk that businesses don't want. Question is, can we navigate through this complex decision-making process with the help of both: gut feeling and syncing it up with the data to prove ourself if we are right or wrong before executing the decision. Some of the benefits of data led decision making include:
1) Data led decision which syncs up with our understanding of the market.
2) Challenges for the business can be numerous. Knowing which problem is worthy enough to be solved becomes important.
3) I have seen and felt the housing market crash of 2022 and 2023 and felt its impacts on employment. I understand how these numbers play out to the bottom level. Therefore, I have projected some dashboards of demand and supply on my website of what happened in Florida, how demand has reduced due to high mortgage rates and how it will continue to be this way.
I bring upon table the following experiences:
1) Creativity: new and increasingly challenging situations have helped me generating ideas that add are of value
2) Knowledge: studying great variety of the structural engineering courses I can confidently unlock increasingly more resources
3) Team Work: working with the team, taking and offering help has improved my perspectives and reduced the time taken for completing various jobs
